26 Sri Lankans from Papua New Guinea were also repatriated on this flight, with the support of the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Australia and the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Papua New Guinea.

This repatriation effort was supported by the Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka, the Presidential Secretariat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, and Sri Lankan Airlines.

The Sri Lanka High Conmission, Singapore has also facilitated repatriation of Sri Lankans from New Zealand and Cambodia in the recent past in collaboration with the Hony Consul of Sri Lanka in Auckland and the Sri Lanka Embassy in Bangkok.
