We are thrilled to announce Sri Lanka’s first demo day ever of Fintech Startups coming out of HatchX accelerator. Hatch along with our partners Lankan Angel Network and Ford Foundation are proud to say we were the first fixed accelerator in South Asia to kickoff and go virtual during the Covid-19 lockdown.

HatchX fintech chapter was executed in a four-month period where Seven Fintech startups were selected from a pool of 20 interviews. The accelerator programme delivered three primary components of business support, education and investor-readiness through a programme structure, curriculum and advisory platform specifically designed by Programme Director Nio Liyanage. The main goal for the accelerator design was producing real tangible outcomes for the startups. The aim was to achieve these outcomes using a structured mentoring process and by making connections within the industry.
